‘Tales of Fallen London: The Silver Tree’ is live!
(This happened last week, but in our crazy flurry of releases (Machine Cares, Winterstrike, BELOW teaser, all the World of the Season winners) I neglected to blog about it!)
The Silver Tree, our first Kickstarter project and our first Fallen London prequel, went live on 23rd October (we’d said ‘expected delivery date: October’). We emailed all the backers and let you know… so if you backed it, (a) this is old news (b) thank you!
So notch this up as another Kickstarter project that got delivered, as promised, on time.
All our physical rewards went out on Monday, in a whole-team frenzy of brown paper and bubble-wrap. This was chiefly the signature Failbetter artefact, the Opportunity Deck, a core set of forty illustrated cards and a ten-card Silver Tree supplement. They’re designed as a tool for creative inspiration, but we’d love to see someone write a rule system to use them as a game. Sample below.
